DC's Gifted and Talented students held their first ever Live Museum on Wednesday September 27th.

"Over the past month, our David Crockett Gifted and Talented class has been working on a “Who’s Who - A Study In Biography. Students explored and then selected a well known figure from our area to research. To wrap up our unit, the students presented their findings in the form of a “Living Museum”. Each student created a presentation board full of important information about their figure. Some added original art for their character, such as a song or self portrait. They dressed according to their character and recited speeches that they had written in the form of a script - all in front of a live crowd in the DC Library - Everyone in the school was invited! Our students did such a wonderful job! I am so proud of all of them. They presented themselves very well as they gave their speeches to all kindergarten-fifth, teachers, administrators, and parents.
